The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“The best charity is providing drinking water”
Narrated by Ahmad, Abu Dawood, An-Nasa'i, and Ibn Majah.
There is no doubt that charitable work is one of the pillars of society and is fundamentally dictated by our religion. Compassion among members of the community brings nothing but good. It also provides peace of mind and a sense of citizenship. We are fortunate to live in a community known for its compassion, affection, communication, and assistance.
King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
We need robust systems to encourage contributions to humanitarian efforts and to educate community members about the value of their donations, which will benefit the public good and social development. In the near future, we will rely on the non-profit sector as a contributing partner in educational, health, and research development.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
